For those who would like to enjoy a stay in Bologna taking in its special atmosphere, Casa Ilaria, with its elegance and quiet, is the place you're looking for.

Casa Ilaria
is located directly in the heart of the historic city, just a stone's throw away from the Two Towers, the world-renowned symbol of Bologna.

Inside an ancient palace opposite the Opera House, Casa Ilaria is not only a peaceful place to stay but also an ideal location to discover the city and experience its nightlife. Virtually all of the city's sights can easily be reached on foot, with the railway station only a 10 minute walk away. The Marconi Airport can be reached by taxi or bus in just 20 minutes.

Going through the front door you leave the noise and bustle of the city behind and enter an old fashioned "Italian" atmosphere, combined with modern conveniences. The recent renovations have been carried out paying great attention to detail to ensure the comfort of our guests.

The rooms, which are quiet and bright, have been furnished with antiques. The large windows look out onto a peaceful courtyard. To help guests further relax, the baths feature a hydromassage system, and oils and essences are at their disposal.

Guests can also log onto the Internet via WLAN. A large (50m2) living area is available to relax and drink something after touring the city. A modern fitted kitchen is available and is suitable for our cooking classes.

Breakfast at Casa Ilaria is a convivial moment where our international guests gather.
The standard breakfast - continental - consists of coffee, milk, hot chocolate, a variety of teas and fruit juices, bread (both white and wholemeal), a wide choice of jams, honey, cookies, homemade cakes, cereals, muesli, fruit and, on occasion, freshly baked croissants. English breakfast, with eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, cheese, is available on request.
